The Siemens HiPath 3000 range can be fitted with an integral voicemail, the Xpressions compact.

This unit means each extension user and/or each department can have a designated voicemail box. This can give an incoming caller information, eg. Joe Smith is leave until Wednesday, and then allow them to leave their own message or press zero to speak to someone else.

Voicemail can be retrieved remotely from home or a mobile and new outgoing messages can also be set up this way.

The Xpressions Compact can also be used as an Auto-Attendant where it will give in coming callers option menus. This facility can be utilised to cut out all call handling or it can be used as an overflow when no-one is available.
